How could you go wrong with a haru remix?.... seriously how? It's a feat in and of itself to destroy that song. i'm not sure you know what a key is, but i suggest look it up. using grossbeat to gate something and lowering it an octave doesn't mean it will sound good. Please listen to the audio before you slap random notes on the note mapper, throw in random mp3s and tamper with them.

Gobblemeister responds:

Woah woah woah dude calm down don't come to my house and beat me up!

it almost seems like you took a bowl of rice and threw it on the ground, and used that for note mapping. this song has no direction or understanding of any music theory behind it. key changes were all over the places. You had melodies that were in dissonance the entire time due to the fact they didn't fit in the key you had it. Heavy on the harsh sound effects, no leads ins or transitions, no fade outs or effects.

Gobblemeister responds:

Yeah? Well you're a nerd

5/5. Nothing more to say.

Bosa responds:

Lol thanks, man. You are a very good listener!

Claws face* I need to see something with this other than drums! it's driving me mad, such a lonely good drum line needs a home in a good song.

RedMarlin responds:

Heh, I'll see what I can do.

Found you on the forums being critical of yourself. =p

You are skilled at making good solid drum beats, i found myself bobbing my head through out most of the entirety of the song. I'm not sure what program you are using, but i would suggest if you are using FL studio to expand the library of preset sounds you use. sytrus is a good place to lurk.

As for missing something , i felt it was missing some kind of chords to aid in carrying the song. I had a hard time finding a melody that repeated, so it was harder to get stuck in my head. Your transitions seemingly ended at time and suddenly start back up, a snare roll intro or reverse crash, white noise lead in, or bass roll could help with that.

All things being said, it seems you enjoyed making this song and it translated well in the music. i enjoyed it all in all.

keep it up.

RedMarlin responds:

I see, so having something in the background to help carry the melody along, and smoother transitions. Thanks for your advice, I'll try that with my next song.

Wow, 0-0 I feel like a total novice after listening to this! On the other side that pushes me to go further, thanks for the inspiration and amazing song.

Silta responds:

Nonsense! You're very skilled ;) I love when people say my music inspires them to do better. I believe people should strive to do better even without inspiration! You're welcome, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! :D

Nice, loved every second of it.

Waidmann responds:

thanks

The only thing i would say is the words didn't match up with the beat exactly. They were slightly belated. Over all i wish the song went on longer.

Technosaur responds:

I was actually just fixing that, good ear friend! :D I'll work on making it longer too, of course. Thanks for the feedback!

What program did you use for this? The sound is beautiful.

adaline responds:

Back when I wrote this I was using East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold XP and StormDrum

You had 3 different things going, all in different keys mind you. The singing was in one key, the ping you had happening was in in another, your bass was in another key. they clashed way too often and harmonized way too little. Basic music theory and understanding of modes could help with that.

At parts i enjoyed it immensely such as 5:00, Your transitions are smooth and well placed. I will in the future i will be sure to take note of such and attempt to replicate them.

Waidmann responds:

Yeeeeah I got that like...a day after i posted this track..in all honesty i just attempted something i haven't before really. :\
