What vst/program were you using to get the classical sounds? That's one things i've had troubles with in the past. I can't seem to find any decent orchestral vsts ( that are any good mind you)

5/5

Raymoclaus responds:

The plugin was Edirol Orchestral, it has some bugs but as you can see it's still possible to make good music.

Ya that's what im talking about. I love the flow of the song. Personally i think songs should just be made with out structure and made how you want them to be (or at least that's what i do/feel) Good mix it was nice and crisp. Wasnt a fan of the wubs however, but i cant take rating down based on personal taste. It's odd you only have 6 followers 0-0. Keeping tabs m8

Keep up the good work

Raymoclaus responds:

Structure is important but yes it shouldn't be compulsory at all and songs can be made however the fk you want because it is your own creation. Yeh I kept the wubs to a minimum, I was planning to try some dubstep but when I realised that I suck I took it all out except the bass line at the beginning and end. Don't worry Dubstep is not my taste either. Having more followers would be nice, it shows that I'm appreciated, but at the end of the day I make songs to please myself, everyone else is simply welcome to enjoy it too.

I'm seeing allot of the same names down below floating around on comments recently 0-0. Any way ya im loving this song. Reminds me of megaman x in a way.

Keep it up m8.

Pretty catchy sir, pretty catchy. Over all i have to say this was a pretty chill song, good choice of synths. Nice over all mix with crisp sounds. hats off

ForeverBound responds:

Thanks man :D

Over all it was well structured and catchy. One large down side is just the synth choice. Try downloading some vsts like native instruments "Massive" or "slyenth1" Those have a decent library of presets when your starting to learn them.

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

hey bro thanks!

Not bad at all m8. I enjoyed the chord progression and syncopation. the song (although short) had a nice groove to it. This song could be placed into a much larger one easily. I can't review much more on it since there isn't more than 40 seconds. However what i hear so far i enjoy.
I'll be keeping tabs on you sir/mam. I look forward to seeing some of your future works.

keep at it.

F3official responds:

Thank you for the review :D At the moment I am using a trial version of Fl studio some I'm having a hard time making big projects. But eventually when I learn the elements on the program a little bit better I will get the full version and start making longer soundtracks :) Also thank you for your support Imma continue to do my best to learn this stuff :)

I enjoyed it allot. Only thing i have to say was at times it sounded like it was peaking pretty hard.
Other than that ( thumbs up). I hope to see more of these in the future. Would you perhaps take requests lol?

Herdunculus responds:

yea i know what you mean about the peak thing, i was hoping no one would notice. But it IS a "quickie" after all, so I guess it's alright to be rough?

And yes, I do take requests, although i might be slightly selective!

"IMPORTANT: If you guys rate it low, I don't mind, but please tell me why in the comments!! Your feedback is the only way in which I can improve ok!!"

Oh man does that sound familiar =). I say nearly the same thing on all my music lol, so i shall respect the request.
The song over all was catchy, i loved all of it. The blend was smooth and as you say"dreamy". Your use of automation were excellent at pulling me in and out of the song when it needed it most. I loved the surprise kick up at 3:40, false build ups are tricky to pull off =). I wish the ending went differently, it seemed to simply stop abruptly to me.

One thing on the negative side i noticed off the bat was that i thought you had a low pass going on your song and was expecting it to fall off when the song came around. Rather it turned out to be slightly muddy mix. I'm not good at mastering by a long shot, but one thing that has helped me take allot of the muddy sounds out of a song is using maximus on master, and EQUO to aid in bringing down some of those pestering hertz regions in some sounds/or increasing some higher hertz to bring some crisp sounds into the mix.

hope my opinion could help in some way.
I'll be keeping tabs for certain m8. followed =)

SoulofT responds:

thanks a lot for the feedback man :D

I'm glad, I do think it's my best song!!

"I wish the ending went differently, it seemed to simply stop abruptly to me."
you're not the first one to say that to me :p I don't know why I ended it like that it just happened xD

About the mixing... it's definitely my weakest point. And I can't master to save my life! I'm working on it though, theory and everything else :D

Thanks a lot for the review, it's really appreciated. Followed back =)

Regards!!

Just amazing... I fail to see why you have so little followers this song is beautiful. consider me added to your fan base sir.

Ignyte responds:

Cheers for the kind review good sir :)
